SmartStart is now offering lifestyle modification programs (LMP) in conjuntion with the Department of Health and the ACT Division of General Practise.  These programs are heavily subsidised by the government and are available to those adults that are at high risk of becoming diabetic.  To see if you qualify for a LMP, complete the attached “Aus Diab Risk Survey”  ausdrisk and have your GP refer you into the program.  See the attached brochure for more information.
