The second annual Stromlo Running Festival was held at the new Stromlo Forest Park in Canberra from Friday 19th to the 21st February 2010.

The weekend was a big success with record numbers of runners in most events, and nearly 2,500 runners taking part over the weekend. 

The festival offered runners and their families a huge weekend full of ‘off road’ events including cross country races, mountain races, orientering, training runs, Crit Track Challenge and the very popular 30K and 11K Adventure Lightening Strike runs from the Brindabellas to Stromlo.  On-site camping and caravans were again popular and enabled runners to fully enjoy the free music, movies, food, BBQ, seminars and clinics.
